Sandy learns how to adjust his stride to carry a pack, recognize the smell of water in an oasis, and sense approaching danger, among many other lessons.

On their journey, Sandy makes some very special friends and together they endure many hardships: perilous terrain, harsh weather, ferocious predators, and dangerous intrigues. It is Sandy’s faith in God’s love that helps guide and inspire the entire caravan on their journey.
